There are a lot of things in life to be grateful for that many take for granted. These types of moments happen so fast, if you don’t capture the moment, it will be gone before you know it. When one reaches a certain milestone in their life it’s a cause for celebration and never to be taken lightly. Well one beautiful lady set out on a mission and brought Tableworthy Moments along the way to bring in her husband’s 50th birthday with whiskey taste and Cuban feel.
The evening was mixed with emotions and family fun. Yolanda wanted her husband Briant to have an unforgettable birthday experience with passed hors d’oeuvres provided by Arthur’s Catering and old school jams by Jody Akins Productions. Of course, Briant had no idea what he was about to pull up on when he arrived but the entrance he made was unforgettable. Arriving by speed boat to Paradise Cove in Orlando Florida we all gathered at the shore for the big SURPRISE.
I’m HAVANA Good Time
Everything was perfectly set for Briant’s arrival. Yolanda chose a Havana Cuban theme and enhanced her party style with a tropical beach photo booth and cigar bar. Her choice of ivory linens with a burnt orange finish fit perfectly with the evening. From the wooden chargers to custom centerpieces, Yolanda aimed for perfection in every detail.
The DJ was live and the whiskey was flowing. It was time to open up the Cigar Bar for the gentleman. Freshly rolled, Cuban style the gentleman from Corona Cigar provided a great relaxing experience. The Cuban Cigar Lounge design was provided for guest to watch the cigar roll demo and try a variety of cigars that fit their tastes. Accompanying the cigar lounge was the whiskey tasting managed by Arthur’s Catering this was definitely a popular party spot for the guests
Attention To Detail
Yolanda wanted to make sure her guests had a wonderful experience and without the details it just wouldn’t be right. She had a design in mind for the centerpieces and wanted me to bring it to life. The base of the centerpiece was a wooden crate topped with hay to raise the middle piece up. Dressed with an old cigar box wrapped in burlap, I finished with tiger lilies and huge bamboo leaves and greenery.
Well it wouldn’t be a party without the drinks! Yolanda wanted to make sure she had a little bit of everything to meet her guests needs. With the variety of wines and liquors, all guests were able to find their go-to drink. The bartenders were especially friendly from and each drink was finished off with bamboo like straws. Between the perfect weather and cool drinks, it couldn’t get any better.
What better way to remember this special occasion than getting in a picture at the photobooth. This tropical background was the perfect fit to this Havana lifestyle. Grab your a hat and fan then snap and share your good times with everyone. It’s like your on vacation without leaving the area.
A Night To Remember
As the night grew older and the votive candles began to die down this party was coming to an end. After party remarks were made by family and friends finishing with Braint’s speech. He spoke of the many blessings he has gained and was thankful for everyone that participated to make this night special for him. This was truly, without a doubt a Tableworthy Moment. If you were turning 50 years old what would you plan for your birthday? Let me know your thoughts.
