MidWyfe’s Monday Motivation

Have you ever woke up inspired? Whether it was because you got to work without any traffic or the breakfast that you devoured was delicious and amazing? Or if it was just that everyone in your house woke up to see another day.

Today was one of those days for me and it wasn’t from anything in particular. Really it was a combination of everything. I think there are so many days that people wake up dreading the next 8 hours or they sit in the sorrow of their shouda, wouda, couldas and end up in a devastating depression. I’ve been there and done that but the one thing that I’ve come to understand is that if I am are able to wake up and take another breath then I MUST be happy and inspired.

We all know that tomorrow isn’t promised but do we take heed to the day ahead. I’m a very faith-based woman and I know that each I step take is one that may not only change my own life but those around me.

When you surround yourself with positivity, everything falls into place. We were made to go through trials and tribulations. We were made to fall so we can get up. We were made to INSPIRE and testify. Reflect in your life’s journey and share your obstacles. You may inspire someone to push through their own challenges.

So I say in the famous words of Bobby McFerrin “Don’t worry, be happy”. Sure at times that may sound corny but the truth is in the pudding. You will be amazed what your happiness will do for the world around you!

So my morning motivation for you is simple: Go to bed each night saying “Veni, Vidi, Vici”…I came, I saw, I conquered! Go be great this week!
