Do you start each day off with a sacred morning routine? If you don’t, I highly suggest that you do. A morning routine sets the tone for the whole day, getting your mind focused on the right path. And if you do each day right, you’ll do life right.
There are plenty of benefits for establishing the “right” morning routine; improved physical and mental well-being, as well as, productivity, quicker goal achievement and successful habits. A huge part of self-care includes spending time with God, your intuition, spirituality, daily goals, and more. The most profound way to tackle this part of life is by the way you start the day.
WHEN GETTING IT “RIGHT”, MAKES THINGS AMAZING
I started to notice major changes in my life–finally getting a peace of mind–once I implemented my ‘miracle morning’ routine. Miracle morning is a term from the amazing book ‘The Miracle Morning’ by Hal Elrod (I highly recommend you add this book to your reading list).
He breaks down an ideal morning routine into ‘Life S.A.V.E.R.S.’ (S=Silence/prayer; A=Affirmations; V=Visualization; E=Exercise; R=Read; S=Scribe / Journal). His book drives home the true importance of have a “right” or miracle morning, plus he shares some great advice on how to get it done.
The only thing that’s missing in the miracle morning book is the fact that as women, we need to do things in a way that works for us. A routine that best fits into where ever we are on our life journeys.
CREATE A PERSONAL/UNIQUE MIRACLE MORNING
Instead of feeling like you have to do certain things a certain way to get this part of life on track: I’d recommend spending some time on figuring out what works best for you. Do you love writing? Dancing? Painting? Praying / talking to God? Gratitude lists? Reviewing Goals? Creating to do lists? Yoga? Making smoothies? Cooking for your family? Be sure to incorporate whatever it is you love to do when you first wake up. A little but very important daily task.
That task may change or evolve over time, just keep in mind that there is no wrong way to tackle your miracle morning. Showing up each morning and spending time with your higher power, self, goals etc. is perfect because it’s about action! Show up. Spend some time doing a task(s) each morning to help get you connected, re-aligned and charged up for the day…warning: this may cause miracles!
