Today’s Mid-WYFE’s Monday Motivation: Everyday is Thanksgiving!
November is the month of Thanksgiving; however, you should always give thanks throughout the year. There are so many things to be thankful, whether it is for the good times or the bad.
Remember to take nothing for granted, especially people. Learn it from someone who has lost several close people, including my mother. Tomorrow is never promised and you have to value those in your lives, in whatever capacity they are in. I am blessed to have family and friends that continually watch over me and my health. And I am blessed to have the angels watching from above, sending their advice in the shape of my conscience; making sure that I learn from the errors I have seen and not make my own.
Look at the people around you? Have you ever told them “thank you”? Not for any particular reason, but just for being a part of your life. Believe me, God places people in your life, in the right place, at the right time, so be thankful.
Be thankful for the life you live. No matter if you are down to your last dollar and there are bills that have yet to get paid; Or if you have had trouble getting back into the job scene with multiple jobs telling you “Your over-qualified” or “We’ll keep you in mind”; Or even if you are having health issues and are struggling to accept the current prognosis, you must stay thankful because it can always get worst. Refocus your negativity into a positive activity. Try your hand at community service. Go serve others and your will realize that you are a value to anyone you touch, no matter your financial, physical or social stance.
I’ve met so many people amazing people who have gone through the roughest of roughest times. Each time I ask them, “How did you do it” and do you know what answer they always give me…“I’m thankful and blessed”.
Carry that with you today and the days to follow. You are blessed! Remain thankful for each and everything that is placed in your life. Have a productive and meaningful week! Make it the best one yet!
